Marcy Park is all business. She sleeps three hours a night, hides in the kitchen cupboard, and she’s not allowed to cry. Nor is she allowed to lose. A recent transfer to Putnam County, she made it all the way to Top 10 in Nationals last year. She’s a champion athlete. She knows CPR. She dances. She twirls baton. She plays Mozart. She loves Jesus. She . . . is all business. Will she win the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee? I mean, probably. There’s not a lot standing in her way. But find out ONE WEEK FROM TODAY! Here at GHS as we present our musical, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee here at the school.

Last night we saw a major election win for the Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario. They were given a clear majority mandate by the voters in this province. Now that the election results are announced, we can reveal how we voted as a school.

In third place with 33 votes was Norm MIller, the Progressive Conservative Candidate

In second place with 34 votes was Erin Horvath from the New Democratic Party of Ontario and out clear winner was Matt Ricter from the Green Party of Ontario with 85 votes.

Thanks to everyone who came out to vote!
