GHS Reads 2011
The second annual GHS READS week, April 26th to April 29th was another resounding success at GHS. During the week, three local authors visited the high school to speak with students about their respective novels. Each author provided a short reading of their novel, spoke about some of the challenges in publishing their work, and suggested some strategies for creative writing.
The Gravenhurst Book Store dropped into GHS and displayed some reading selections geared toward a high school audience. Students who visited the display were able to enter a draw to win a voucher for a free book at the book store.

Grade 12 Literary Footprint
All Grade 12 students completed a survey about their favourite novel. The list was compiled, and each book has been purchased so each grade 12 student will leave a Literary Footprint in the GHS library.
