College and University application deadlines are approaching.  Do you need help with your application?  Please make a guidance appointment to meet with Mrs. Schandlen.

  • Just two more days until Snow Way Out debuts at the Gravenhurst Opera House. Also: just two more days until Snow Way Out closes at the Gravenhurst Opera House. That’s right! You have just one chance to see this play created by out Grade 9 and 10 drama class. That chance is this Friday at 7PM at the Opera House. See you there!

Last week at Improv, we got sent to human obedience school. We criticized Paige’s hokey-pokey. We watched particles at the dawn of time and . . . there was some weird stuff with spiders? See you today at lunch in the drama room for more improv fun.

From the Sports Desk:

Congratulations to Ross Beaver and Kiara Collins who have been selected as the athletes of the month for November.

Ross was a member of the Jr Boys Volleyball team, he was always positive, demonstrated amazing sportsmanship and excellent backup on the court.  His serves were the most consistent all season.

Kiara Collins is a member of the Sr Girls Volleyball team.  She is a committed athlete who comes to every practice, demonstrates a genuine interest in learning the game and becoming a better player.  Kiara also helps with the Midget team practices and can be counted on for her tough serving.

If Kiara and Ross could please meet Mrs. Clarke today at 11:30 by the gym for your photo.

The midget girls’ volleyball team hosted Parry Sound for their second game of the season.  The girls lost a close first set 25 – 20.  Gravenhurst managed to get back in form and ended up winning the next three sets to win the match 3 games to 1.  Wish the girls luck for tomorrow’s game in Almaguin.

There is a mandatory Boys’ Hockey meeting today at 11:30 in room 133.

The Buy in this Thursday has been cancelled due to some difficulties.
