Trillium Lakelands District School Board acknowledges that these lands and waters are the traditional homeland of the Ojibway (Oh-jib-way) Nations and the Huron (Hur-on)/Wendat (When-dat) Nation, and now includes communities from the Mohawk Nation, the Pottawatomi (Pot-a-watt-a-me) Nation and the Metis (May-tee) Nation of Ontario.

Under the One Dish With One Spoon Treaty, the Haudenosaunee (Hoden-oh-show-nee) Confederacy and the Anishinaabe (An-ish-i-na-bay) Peoples agreed to share and care for this territory for the benefit of future generations.  We acknowledge their stewardship throughout the ages.

Good morning Robotics fans….This weekend the GHS robotics team Gryphtech Robotics and their robot Robi 1 gryphobi traveled to York University to compete at an FRC event. Heading into the event, Robi one was considered an underdog. In true Gryphon fashion Robi 1 came to compete. We found ourselves ranked as high as 8th before slipping to 11th place late in the day. We will travel to North Bay to compete in our second event this Sunday.  ALL team members are reminded to check their classroom for updates.
