Trillium Lakelands District School Board acknowledges that these lands and waters are the traditional homeland of the Ojibway (Oh-jib-way) Nations and the Huron (Hur-on)/Wendat (When-dat) Nation, and now includes communities from the Mohawk Nation, the Pottawatomi (Pot-a-watt-a-me) Nation and the Metis (May-tee) Nation of Ontario.

Under the One Dish With One Spoon Treaty, the Haudenosaunee (Hoden-oh-show-nee) Confederacy and the Anishinaabe (An-ish-i-na-bay) Peoples agreed to share and care for this territory for the benefit of future generations.  We acknowledge their stewardship throughout the ages.

Thanks to all the Gryphons that made last week’s spirit week a great success! Heading into the week, we had a total of just 2.03 million house points across all 4 houses.
As of this morning, our Gryphons have earned almost 5.5 million points! That’s more than double our previous amount! The updated standings are…..: in fourth place with 970,000 points: Sagamo. Segwun and Wenonah are in a close race for second with 1.48 million and 1.38 million points respectively. And our current leader, Cherokee with a whopping 0.00163 billion points!
