Trillium Lakelands District School Board acknowledges that these lands and waters are the traditional homeland of the Ojibway (Oh-jib-way) Nations and the Huron (Hur-on)/Wendat (When-dat) Nation, and now includes communities from the Mohawk Nation, the Pottawatomi (Pot-a-watt-a-me) Nation and the Metis (May-tee) Nation of Ontario.

Under the One Dish With One Spoon Treaty, the Haudenosaunee (Hoden-oh-show-nee) Confederacy and the Anishinaabe (An-ish-i-na-bay) Peoples agreed to share and care for this territory for the benefit of future generations.  We acknowledge their stewardship throughout the ages.

If you are hoping to attend the Girlz Choice program tomorrow but have not handed in your form, please see Ms. Humphries today in guidance.

Listen up grade 12s!  Are you planning to apply to university?  The Ontario Universities Regional Fair is this week at GHS.  All 21 universities will be visiting GHS on Thursday afternoon from 12:30 until 2:00 pm in the gym.  This is a great opportunity to ask questions and find out more about the programs and possibilities each school has to offer!  If you are interested in attending, please sign the sheet on the main office counter to secure your spot.

Do you need volunteer hours?  The Bala Cranberry Festival is fast approaching and they are looking for volunteers to fill a variety of positions.  Please see Ms. Humphries or Ms. Kent for more details or check out the posting on the volunteer board outside the guidance office.

From the Sports Desk:
