“Trillium Lakelands District School Board acknowledges that these lands and waters are the traditional homeland of the Ojibway (Oh-jib-way) Nations and the Huron (Hur-on)/Wendat (When-dat) Nation, and now includes communities from the Mohawk Nation, the Pottawatomi (Pot-a-watt-a-me) Nation and the Metis (May-tee) Nation of Ontario.
Under the One Dish With One Spoon Treaty, the Haudenosaunee (Hoden-oh-show-nee) Confederacy and the Anishinaabe (An-ish-i-na-bay) Peoples agreed to share and care for this territory for the benefit of future generations. We acknowledge their stewardship throughout the ages.”
Don’t forget, tomorrow is Photo Day!
Just a reminder that in order to get your student card your $30 Student Activity Fee needs to be paid.
News from the drama department! There are TWO different improv opportunities this week.
Wednesday, at lunch, in the drama room, we have casual drop-in improv.
Thursday after school, we have auditions for the improv team. Come represent GHS in the Canadian Improv Games. Everyone’s welcome at both improv events, so if you’ve ever thought you might be good on the stage, this is your chance!
For more information, see the posters around the school, see Mr. Sacrey, or just ask a drama kid. They’re usually pretty easy to pick out of a crowd.
From the Sports Desk:
A reminder to the running team to bring in your forms.
