Tim Hortons Smile Cookie campaign funds donated to K.P. Manson Public School

From April 29 to May 5, Tim Hortons restaurants across Canada took part in the Smile Cookie campaign. The annual initiative donates 100 percent of cookie sales to local charities and community groups.

For the past three years, the Gravenhurst Tim Hortons locations have supported local schools, with this year supporting K.P. Manson Public School!

The week-long campaign was fully supported by staff, students, parent council members, and the school community. All classes made posters to hang in the various locations, Grade 7/8 students spent the day at one location “hyping” the event, and staff and families even decorated cookies and thanked the community as they went through the drive thru.

In total, $18,493.99 was donated to the school and will go towards rejuvenating the school yard to give students more opportunities and tools to be outside and be active!
